FCPL Urbana Branch Teen Librarian, Ms. Mary Ann Foltz, will be sponsoring lunch book clubs for each grade level throughout the year.

Grade 8
October 5--Scrambled Eggs at Midnight by Brad Barkley and Heather Helper
February 1--Behind the Curtain: An Echo Falls Mystery by Peter Abrahams

Grade 7
November 9--The Prophet of Yonwood by Jeanne DuPrau
March 7--The Supernaturalist by Eoin Colfer

Grade 6
December 14--Shakespeare's Secret by Elise Broach
May 9--Gossamer by Lois Lowry

Books are availalbe a month prior to the lunch in the media center. Students must have an FCPL library card to check out the books.

   

Black-Eyed Susan Voting

Maryland's Reader's Choice Award!

Students who have read three or more of this year's Black-Eyed Susan Nominees are eligible to vote for their favorite of the 10 books in Mid April.

Students who have read six or more will be invited to a pizza party to celebrate after the winning novel is named. The last day to vote will be April 20th. The winner will be announced in early May.
