Meet Your Librarian!

Trudy Griebenow (Gree-Ben-O) is an Idaho native who "transplanted" to Maryland in 2005. Trudy was the Media Specialist at Urbana Elementary in Frederick County for the 2005-2006 school year prior to being chosen as the Media Specialist to open Urbana Middle School in 2006. In Idaho, Trudy was an elementary librarian for several years after teaching junior high English and Language Arts for 11 years. Trudy is very excited to be teaching at the middle school level again and has many great programs planned for UMS students and faculty.
